Uten mat og drikke….

I am not going to say I understand how it is to starv for real. Let’s just say fasting from 5.30pm to noon the next day is not really my style. To go to bed hungry is not pleasant, but not to eat breakfast the following morning is the worst. I can not remember the last time my body and mind was so incredibly tired at the same time. How muslims can do this for a month, I can seriously not get my head around.

And I have 3 tests left…

Morsdag (eller farsdag) har aldri vært noen stor greie hos oss. Jeg tror det kommer mest av at Pappa synes det er teit og kommers. Men jeg innbiller meg at Mamma kommer til å sette pris på denne her uansett!

Jeg er glad i deg besteste Mamsen min! Gleder meg til du og Pappa kommer på besøk!

Wrong Way

It was sunny, a clear blue sky, and still a few hours til my class. I was so glad that I had finally found time to take my XCskies to Mont Royal and try out the skitracks. But then…

- You’re going the wrong way!
- Hæh?
- You’re suppose to go this way (*poiting in “his” direction*)
- Why? There are two tracks here! That doesn’t make any sence…
- Whatever…
… And then he skies away – angry!

I was so shocked and confused that I stopped the next person I saw. He was a nice man and explained that I actually was going the wrong way, because there were two tracks yet only one direction, but it was hard to know which way that was. He was a good skier and could understand my confusion. He didn’t even care that I went the wrong way. It was two tracks…

After that I met another nice lady who didn’t care about my wrong direction either, but then I met at least 5 other people who yelled at me for going the wrong way. My good mood faded away all of a sudden. Come on! Two tracks!!

Well, now I have been given a map and next time I will try to go in the right direction… But still: TWO TRACKS!!!
